Responsibilities:

  • creating game elements and assets: game backgrounds, features, pop-up banners, icons, characters, symbols, etc. from scratch
  • creating mockups and developing 2D art with industry-standardized tools. The semi-realistic style mostly. 
  • conceptualizing, presenting, and executing ideas within a tight schedule while understanding the studio’s brand and be a significant part of its development
  • preparing final assets for animation and/or assembling by following guidelines set at the company level 
  • a real teammate, brainstormer, and partner with other artists and collaborator with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • strong design, drawing, color, light, volume, perspective, spatial thinking, composition, anatomy basics knowledge, and good conceptualizing abilities
  • ​at least 3 years of experience in creating art for games
  • great illustration skills with a portfolio of 2D assets for games
  • excellent knowledge of Photoshop and render
  • background and characters design in a range of different styles
  • quick sketching methods and the ability to create accurate wireframes and to react quickly to changes
  • receive and implement feedback thoughtfully with providing a better solution proactively if you see one 
  • ability to meet deadlines in a strong team environment
  • resourceful with excellent follow-through skills
  • at least Intermediate English
